Executive Director of the Development Fund of Georgia: Our doors are open to all interested groups who meet the stated criteria to present projects

The doors of the Development Fund are open to all interested groups to present projects that meet the criteria announced by us, said Besik Bugianishvili, Executive Director of the Development Fund of Georgia.

According to him, the investment budget of the development fund is divided into 2 parts, the largest share of which comes from high-tech and eco-friendly production.

"The main thing for us is that the projects are of high quality, which will give us the opportunity to start productive and active cooperation with our partners.As for the sectors, our priorities are divided as follows, we have a divided investment budget into 2 parts - 10% comes to innovations and startups, the remaining 90% is allocated to high-tech and eco-friendly production. There is also promotion of export-oriented production, reduction of import dependence, and also, we have an interest that if there is any project in the high-tech, logistics direction, we will see ourselves there and promote the development of this system.

The type of competition is not in the fund, the door of the fund is open to all interested groups who meet the criteria announced by us. We can receive projects both physically and electronically. As soon as the project comes in, the fund's investment department starts reviewing it, and we are quite interactive and communicative, so no one will have a problem communicating with us. The main thing is that we meet the priorities that have been announced by us," Bugianishvili said on the air of the Public Broadcaster.
