Nika Gvaramia: I think that these elections are of great importance in Georgia, usurpation of the government should not be allowed either by domestic or international actors

I think that these elections are of great importance in Georgia, usurpation of the government should not be allowed either by domestic or international actors, - opposition politician Nika Gvaramia told journalists.

He spoke about the importance of the arrival of the election observation mission in Georgia and noted that the arrival of the mission is important, however, the opposition has work to do with its own commission members in terms of competence."The opposition, first of all, needs to strengthen its positions during election control.

I don't think anyone doesn't know that the opposition members of the commissions very often have a problem of competence and also have a problem of decency. We have seen too many forged protocols, the so-called Green areas where members of the opposition sign, some out of mistake and incompetence and some out of self-interest. Therefore, the opposition should work in this direction, especially those who have members of the commission, because not everyone will have members of the commission, it's sad, but it is true.

This is a matter of great importance, I would say, fundamental and decisive. No observation mission can counterbalance this, no matter how much the observation mission is. However, the arrival of an observation mission, as large as possible, is very important, and also the adequacy of the assessment is very important because those assessments, to put it mildly, have always been inadequate or too soft. I think that these elections are of great importance in Georgia, usurpation of the government should not be allowed either by domestic or international actors", said Nika Gvaramia.

In addition, he spoke about negotiations with a certain part of the opposition."I have made statements, I have communicated with all pro-Western parties, I cannot list them all. I can list those who confirmed about the negotiations themselves, namely Nika Melia, Elene Khoshtaria and Zura Japaridze. "Lelo" I will consider, I have a great desire, "Lelo" should also consider itself, it should be a mutual desire", said Nika Gvaramia.
