The staff of the investigator was formed as an independent staff unit. Salaries of investigators increased and their functions became fully related to crime investigation.

Within the framework of the same reform, the Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti police department was established as an independent territorial body from October 25, 2023, which will serve the municipalities of Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri and Lentekhi", said Vakhtang Gomelauri.
