Nino Tsilosani becomes the vice-speaker of the parliament

"Georgian Dream" deputy Nino Tsilosani became the vice-speaker of the parliament. Tsilosani, who held the position of Chairman of the Agrarian Affairs Committee in the Parliament, replaced Irakli Chikovani as the Vice-Speaker of the Parliament.

It should be noted that there are a total of four vice-speakers from the "Georgian Dream" in the speaker's office of the parliament. These are the first vice-speaker of the parliament, Gia Volski, who was nominated to the mentioned position by the chairman of the parliament in the manner established by the regulations. The deputies of the majority are also the vice-speakers of the parliament: - Archil Talakvadze, Giorgi Kakhiani and Nino Tsilosani.

As for the opposition, despite the fact that, according to the regulations, the position of three vice-speakers is defined for the opposition in the speaker's office of the parliament, the parliament has only one vice-speaker - "European Socialist" deputy Avtandil Enukidze - elected by the opposition quota. Last year, the "National Movement" faction presented the candidacy of Levan Bezhashvili to the parliament for the position of vice-speaker, although the majority does not support Bezhashvili's election.

The posts of two vice-speakers of the opposition in the parliament are vacant.
