According to preliminary information, the reason for the arrest of the lawyer of the deceased Russian opposition politician, Alexei Navalny, Vasiliy Dubkov, is "violation of public order."

Dubkov accompanied the now deceased politician's mother, Lyudmila Navalnaya, during a visit to Salekhard, where Navalny's body was taken after his death in prison.

According to the sources, Dubkov was taken to the Shcherbinka police station in Moscow.
