Abkhazia’s so-called minister: I have never even seen this Khidasheli, and I know about Volski only from reports in the media - I have not had any negotiations with them

The so-called minister of internal affairs of occupied Abkhazia denies negotiations with businessman Davit Khidasheli, Radio Liberty project Ekhokavkaza reports.

According to Robert Kiuti, he knows about the First Vice-Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, Gia Volski, only from the media.

"I have never even seen this Khidasheli, and I know about Volski only from reports in the media... I have not had any negotiations, especially with them," said Robert Kiuti.

According to the so-called minister of internal affairs, the reports are absurd, and issues related to the restoration of the railway are not within his competence.

For information, Gia Volski, said that Khidasheli called him and told him that he has interesting ideas regarding Abkhazia. According to him, "Khidasheli has not revealed any anti-Western, pro-Russian, or especially anti-Georgian ideas." Volski also answered the question of whether he talked with Davit Khidasheli about the confederation with Abkhazia and South Ossetia. "As for the confederation, he mentioned this word quite loudly. A large part of the society knows that a confederation is possible, but not in such a situation", said Volski.
