In fact, "Georgian Dream" overturned the recommendations of the European Union, the conclusions of the Venice Commission and adopted such a law that is directly adapted to their political interests - it can be said that this is a rejection of the recommendations of the European Union, "EuroOptimists" MP Roman Gotsiridze said about this while talking about the changes to be made in the Code.

According to him, "Georgian Dream" is not going to consider any recommendations.

"Instead of improving the current situation today, in fact, "Georgian Dream" overturned the recommendations to the European Union, the Venice Commission's conclusion, and they adopt a law that is directly tailored to the political interests of "Georgian Dream", when any decision can be made without the participation of the opposition and the president. This is, in fact, a message to the EU that they are not going to follow through on recommendations that will soften even the slightest bit the levers for maintaining power, that the main and important thing for them is to maintain power, not to take care of the country and support the process of rapid accession to the European Union. It can be said that this is a refusal on the recommendations of the European Union," Gotsiridze said.
