Georgian football team qualifies for Euro 2024 after beating Greece in penalty shootout
For the first time in history, the national football team of Georgia will play at the European Championship.
The national team of Georgia defeated the national team of Greece in the final match of the qualifying stage of Euro 2024.
The fate of the score was decided in the penalty shootout: the Georgian national team scored 4 penalties, while the Greeks managed to score only 2 penalties.
The match took place at Dinamo Arena.
The Georgian national team will play its first game at the European Championship in Dortmund against the Turkish national team on July 18.
