To celebrate the historic victory of the Georgian national football team and the participation in Euro 2024, the National Bank of Georgia will issue a Euro 2024 collection coin.

According to the information of the National Bank, the Board of the National Bank of Georgia made the relevant decision. The National Bank will work together with the Georgian Football Federation on the design of the coin.

"The Georgian football team will play at the European Championship for the first time. The 2024 European Championship will be held in Germany, and in the first match of the group, the Georgian national team will face the Turkish national team on June 18.

In 2022, in connection with the hosting of EuroBasket in Georgia, the National Bank issued a silver coin of 5 GEL for collection purposes on the theme of EuroBasket 2022”, - reads the information released by the National Bank.
