"As of March 21, 2024, about 30,000 socially vulnerable people are employed within the framework of the public works employment program. The interest in joining the program is quite high. The employment agency offers both public works and open labor market vacancies to socially vulnerable persons who want to be employed. In addition, more than 20,000 socially vulnerable citizens are employed on other vacancies - on the open labor market. From the beginning of the program until today, 7,079 people were excluded from the work program for various reasons.

"Public work means employment in such a vacant position, which can be performed by a person with any qualification and is determined by the minister's order," the employment agency said.
