Prosecutor's Office applies to the Netherlands to arrest Zurab Adeishvili and extradite him to Georgia

The Prosecutor's Office of Georgia applied to the competent agencies of the Netherlands to arrest and extradite Zurab Adeishvili, the former Minister of Justice of Georgia.

As InterPressNews was informed by the agency, the appeal was made on the basis of publicly disseminated information.

"The Prosecutor's Office of Georgia, within the framework of its powers, implements all the measures provided for by the law to bring the persons who committed crimes in Georgia to Georgian justice, regardless of their location.

In this case as well, based on publicly disseminated information, the Prosecutor's Office appealed to the competent agencies of the Netherlands to arrest Zurab Adeishvili and extradite him to Georgia," the Prosecutor's Office said.

As noted by the Prosecutor's Office, Zurab Adeishvili is accused of torture of prisoners, murder of Buta Robakidze, beating of Koba Davitashvili and other criminal cases.
