Chairman of the Parliament Shalva Papuashvili asked Aleko Elisashvili to leave the plenary session hall, according to his statement, he will turn off the microphone of anyone who calls the bill of the majority "Russian"

Aleko Elisashvili, deputy of the "Citizens" party, was left out of the plenary session hall of the parliament. The Speaker of the Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, called the bailiffs to remove Aleko Elisashvili from the hall after Elisashvili's statement regarding the draft law on "transparency of foreign influence" was followed by noise and verbal confrontation in the hall.

Elisashvili called the mentioned bill Russian, which is why Shalva Papuashvili turned off his microphone and said that he is engaged in anti-Georgian propaganda.

The chairman of the parliament said that he will turn off the microphone of everyone who calls the said bill Russian.

"This is anti-Georgian propaganda. which you are doing now in the Georgian Parliament. You will not be allowed to shout that. I will turn off the microphone of anyone who uses Russian law. Stop anti-Georgian propaganda. Don't lie to the Georgian people, it worked for you last year, it won't work for you this year.

Mr. Aleko, don't get this pathetic anymore, it's enough. This lie that you told Georgian people last year has come to an end. You yourself realize that you no longer have the moral right to say that," Papuashvili said.
