Khatia Dekanoidze addresses Anti-Corruption Bureau with a question on what basis it suspended examination of declarations of four judges, including Mikheil Chinchaladze and Levan Murusidze

EuroOptimists deputy Khatia Dekanoidze addresses the Anti-Corruption Bureau with a question on what basis it suspended the examination of the declarations of four judges, including Mikheil Chinchaladze and Levan Murusidze.

As Dekanoidze stated at the briefing held in the Parliament, for the first time in history the "clan of judges" refuses to check their own declarations, which is "a complete sabotage of the European future of Georgia".

According to her, "it is a lie and hypocrisy when Georgian Dream supports the Russian law on the motive of transparency".

"A few days ago, it became known that the Tbilisi City Court accepted the lawsuits of four judges - Mikheil Chinchaladze, Levan Murusidze, Sandro Metofishvili and Vasil Mshvenieradze and suspended the examination of their declarations, which means that for the first time in the history of Georgia, corrupt judges, the "clan" refuses their declarations to be checked by the Anti-Corruption Bureau.

The Anti-Corruption Bureau was created under the conditions of Georgian Dream, it is not independent, and even this anti Bureau is refused to check the declarations. The "clan" openly, publicly, at the expense of the European future of their country, refuses to check their own declarations. When we have to do everything in the context of our European future and integration into the European Union, and when the future of Georgia is determined by the Constitution, Georgian Dream, the government and the court stand between the future and the past of our country and drag us into the past”, said the MP.
