Roman Gotsiridze: Sanctions are slowly approaching the "Georgian Dream" elite

Sanctions are slowly approaching the "Georgian Dream" elite. We will see, in the case of the adoption of the "Agents' Law", how will the reaction of not only the international community, but also the citizens of Georgia, - the chairman of "EuroOptimists" Roman Gotsiridze told the journalists.

According to him, "Georgian Dream" does not intend to join Georgia in the European Union, and this process will freeze after the adoption of the said bill.

"Adopting the Law of Agents; Non-implementation of 9 recommendations, all draft laws that have been adopted, starting with the CEC and ending with women's quotas - all this means that "Georgian Dream" is not going to join the country in the European Union. This process will freeze after the adoption of this law and Bidzina Ivanishvili will not be able to escape the sanctions. When we were talking about sanctions, no one thought that the judges of "Georgian Dream" could be sanctioned. Also, "Georgian Dream" should not believe that when it stands on the Russian path and hinders the country's progress towards Europe, it will go away," said Gotsiridze.

According to him, "Georgian Dream" is a liar, "a similar law would not be adopted in Europe and will not be adopted."

"Georgian Dream" is a liar. Lies, duplicity, Disinformation, demagoguery - these are propaganda tools of "Georgian Dream". Nowhere, in Europe, a similar law was not adopted and will not be adopted. The law applicable in Europe does not apply to EU countries and funds allocated from these countries. These laws are directed against Russia and authoritarian countries. As well as in American legislation, there are articles that are not directed towards friendly countries. This law is a copy of the Russian law," said Roman Gotsiridze.
