According to Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, the non-adoption of the draft law "On transparency of foreign influence" is in the interest of the donors whose goal is to confront Georgians with each other and deepen polarization.

"It is a sad reality that these donors are disguised as if they are promoting the development of the country, but in reality they are financing the confrontation of Georgians," said Kakha Kaladze.

According to the Mayor of Tbilisi, the Georgian Dream government will not allow the interests of the country to be harmed.

"The non-adoption of the draft law "On transparency of foreign influence" is in the interest of the donors, who are disguised as if they are promoting the development of the country and the development of democratic processes. In reality, they are financing all kinds of evil, filth that a person can think of - confrontation and polarization of Georgians. This is a sad reality.

We will not forget one thing - we are an independent, sovereign state. Yesterday was April 9, the day of the heroes who fought for the independence of our country to be a sovereign country. I don't want this to be wrapped up as replacing one master with another master, that is categorically unacceptable. We will not allow this under any circumstances, as long as we are in power, we will always pursue and protect the interest of our country. No union is worth giving up the interests of my country and people", said Kakha Kaladze.
