Parliamentary opposition demands creation of investigative commission regarding Irakli Gharibashvili’s property

The parliamentary opposition demands the creation of an investigative commission regarding the property of the chairman of Georgian Dream, Irakli Gharibashvili. Deputies made a statement about the above at the press conference held in the Parliament.

“Deputies of Georgian Dream are meeting the ambassadors of the European Security and Policy Committee today. Today we will demand in the Parliament of Georgia to create an investigative commission regarding the property of Irakli Gharibashvili. We have collected enough signatures. We want these ambassadors to answer whether Georgian Dream is ready to talk about the problems of corruption, which we have promised to eliminate. The meeting is scheduled in the next few hours. We want them to answer whether they are ready to talk about the initiative of the opposition, so that we can start discussing the issue related to Gharibashvili's property and create an investigative commission. We have collected signatures, we will initiate it, and now it's time for Georgian Dream to show whether they can devote their time and parliamentary space to real problems", said the opposition MP, Tamar Kordzaia.
