Customs officers prevented the fact of importing a large amount of undeclared money. According to the information of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance, the secret introduction of a large amount of undeclared money to the customs checkpoint "Kazbegi" was prevented.

"Customs officers of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance, based on suspicion, as a result of a detailed inspection of the vehicle under the control of a foreign citizen, revealed the undeclared amount: - 40,000,000 Russian rubles.

The total amount of undeclared amount, according to the exchange rate of the National Bank, amounted to 1,164,000 GEL.

In accordance with Article 169, Part 3 of the Customs Code of Georgia, the law-breaking citizen, as a sanction, was determined to confiscate the goods in full," the agency said in the information.
