Maka Bochorishvili, Chairman of the European Integration Committee of the Parliament, met with about 30 representatives of the non-governmental organization "Future Leaders Hub".

According to their reports, the main topic of the meeting with the young people was Georgia-EU relations, history and directions of cooperation, as well as EU enlargement policy.

The Chairman of the European Integration Committee reviewed the history of Georgia-EU relations and talked about the reforms implemented and ongoing on the path of integration into the European Union, the steps taken to fulfill the recommendations of the European Commission, and also the existing challenges.

"Maka Bochorishvili spoke about the dynamics of Georgia-EU relations, the historical significance of the decision of the European Council of December 14, 2023 for Georgia, and the new prospects created by granting the candidate status.

During the meeting, the Chairman of the Committee for Integration with Europe, within the discussion, answered the questions asked by young people", the information says.
