"Palitra Media" cancels the festive event related to its birthday

"Palitra Media" turns 29 on April 18. In connection with this, a traditional ceremonial event was planned, in which, together with the employees, numerous fans of the holding should also participate.
However, unfortunately, an extraordinary situation has been created in Georgia. The return of the draft law "On the transparency of foreign influence" to the parliament for discussion has made the political situation tense. A part of the society makes a strong protest. On the other hand, the initiators of the bill are not going to back down at this stage either.
We all have one motherland and we believe that if there is common sense and good will, a compromise option can be found without jeopardizing either peaceful and stable development or European integration.
"Palitra Media" is neither directly nor indirectly affected by the draft law "On transparency of foreign influence". The holding does not receive any financing, including from abroad, and therefore, in the event of the implementation of the law, it will not have to register in the "foreign influence" register or fill out a declaration.
However, not a single bill, initiative or action should hinder what generations in our country fought for, and it was recorded in the Constitution of Georgia in 2017 (Article 78) - European integration. This is vitally important for Georgia.
Due to the situation in the country, "Palitra Media" cancels the official celebratory event related to the 29th anniversary.
On the other hand, "Palitra Media" will continue the path it has been following for these 29 years - providing viewers, listeners and readers with truthful, objective, balanced and diverse information or analysis.
