Tina Bokuchava: It would not be a surprise if the European Parliament starts discussing personal sanctions, because they are trying to save Georgia's European future

According to Tina Bokuchava, chairwoman of the parliamentary faction United National Movement, it would not be a surprise if the European Parliament considers tough options and starts discussing personal sanctions, because "along with the Georgian people and the young people who stand by their side every day on Rustaveli, the European friends of Georgia are trying to save Georgia's European future".

According to Bokuchava, all international friends of Georgia say very clearly that the so-called Russian law is an obstacle to Georgia's European integration.

"All international friends of Georgia, be it the legislative and executive bodies of the USA or various bodies of the European Union, President of the European Council Charles Michel, the European Commission or individual European politicians, say very clearly that the "Russian law" is an obstacle to the European integration of our country. They call on [Bidzina] Ivanishvili to withdraw the "Russian law" and take into account the will of the citizens of Georgia, who have repeatedly proved that Georgia's place is in Europe and will do everything to protect this European choice. Therefore, the consideration of such tough options by the European Parliament, including the possibility of personal sanctions, will naturally not be surprising because, together with the Georgian people and the young people who are standing on Rustaveli every day, the European friends of Georgia are trying to save Georgia's European future”, - noted Tina Bokuchava.
