The international friends of Georgia and especially the European Union are very strongly warning Ivanishvili's party and Ivanishvili personally that reinstating the "Russian law" threatens the European integration of our country, Tina Bokuchava, chairperson of the "United National Movement" faction, told reporters.

According to Bokuchava, this was once again confirmed by the resolution adopted by the European Parliament today.

As Tina Bokuchava pointed out, this is a very heavy application and judgment for Bidzina Ivanishvili and her party members, who "openly chose the path to Russia by reinstating the "Russian Law" in the Georgian Parliament."

According to Tina Bokuchava, Bidzina Ivanishvili will receive a personal warning from the European Union at the end of this month.

"This is the strictest warning for Ivanishvili personally. As far as I know, he will also receive a personal warning specifically from the EU at the end of this month, and this will certainly be his last warning. I really hope that Bidzina Ivanishvili will grasp and understand the seriousness of this warning in the interest of the country. And the members of his party will naturally, with the same obedience, which they have shown until now, fulfill the task that they will receive from Ivanishvili himself, who is not at all interested in the national and European interest of the country, but now realizes that what is important to him - his financial assets, may be in danger." , - said Bokuchava.

For information, the European Parliament approved the resolution "On transparency of foreign influence in Georgia" with amendments.

The European Parliament adopted the resolution with 425 votes against 25, and 30 deputies abstained.

According to the text of the draft resolution, the draft law on "foreign agents" is against the values and democratic principles of the European Union, against Georgia's EU membership ambitions, damages Georgia's international reputation and endangers the country's Euro-Atlantic aspirations.

It is also noted that the negotiations on Georgia's accession to the European Union should not be opened until the said draft law is part of the country's legal order.
