In the January-March period, 77,045 international visits from EU countries and Great Britain took place in Georgia.

According to the information of the National Tourism Administration, the increase compared to the data of 2019 is +44.4% (+23,677 visits).

"In the first quarter of 2024, the highest number of visits to Georgia was recorded from Poland with 11,734 visits, which exceeds the data of 2019 by +67.1%, followed by Germany with 11,005 visits, an increase of +46.1% compared to 2019; United Kingdom 6,484 visits; Growth compared to 2019 +27%.

The number of international travelers and international tourist visits is calculated according to the methodology developed according to the recommendation of the World Tourism Organization and includes already made and completed visits," the information says.
