They passed the law, which is a certain setback in the path of integration. We are sorry for this, - said the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs and Foreign Trade of Belgium, Hadja Lahbib, in Brussels, at the informal meeting of the General Affairs Council of the European Union.

According to her, if the current situation regarding the law "On transparency of foreign influence" in Georgia does not change, there will be no progress on the path of the European Union.

"I will have a bilateral meeting. They passed the law, which is a certain setback in the path of integration. We are sorry for this and will have a very open discussion without any taboos. We will see how we can support them and how we can change this situation. Otherwise, I'm afraid they won't make progress," said Hadja Lahbib.
