Public Defender: I call on the Ministry of Internal Affairs not to repeat what we saw yesterday, and I also call on demonstrators to protect the scope of an assembly

Public Defender called on the Ministry of Internal Affairs at a specially held briefing not to repeat what we saw yesterday, not to interfere with citizens' freedom of expression and not to abuse them.

Ioseliani also called on the participants of today's rally to protect the scope of the gathering and its peaceful form, so that it does not turn into an additional escalation.

"My today's briefing primarily serves as an initial assessment of yesterday's sad events, which we saw, and at the same time, before today's rally, it’s a warning to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, first of all, not to repeat what we saw yesterday, not to interfere with the freedom of expression of our citizens, not to abuse them.

I would also like to call on the participants of the rally to protect the scope of the gathering and its peaceful form, so that it does not turn into an additional escalation", said Levan Ioseliani.
