The Ministry of Internal Affairs launched an investigation into the attack on Lado Apkhazava, winner of the national teacher's award, under Article 126, which refers to violence.

"Interpress News" was informed about this by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

To remind you, Lado Apkhazava, the winner of the national teacher's award, was attacked. According to him, the incident happened near his residence in Lanchkhuti. He also noted that the attackers had sticks. In connection with the incident, the "Teacher's National Award" released a statement on "Facebook" and said that the attack is especially suspicious in the light of his civic activism.

"We expect that the investigation will be carried out in a timely and efficient manner," the statement of the "National Teacher's Award" reads.
