The Georgian government refused to talk with us, - the chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the German Parliament (Bundestag), who is visiting Georgia, Michael Roth writes on the social network.

"The government of Georgia refused to talk with us. We are not here to teach, we are here to listen to each other. Only the chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, Nikoloz Samkharadze, hosted us, not in the parliament, but in the office of "Georgian Dream", writes Michael Roth on X.

Michael Roth thanked the chairmen of the foreign affairs committees of the Czech, Polish, Lithuanian and Finnish parliaments for visiting Tbilisi with him.

"Many thanks to Žygimantas Pavilionis, Bogdan Klich, Pavel Fischer and Sebastian Tynkkynen for joining our visit to Tbilisi. We represent different parties, countries, traditions and beliefs. But we are all friends of Georgia. We stand by all the brave Georgians who participate in demonstrations in support of freedom and democracy," said Michael Roth.
