According to the Public Defender’s Office, in the period from April 15 to May 17, representatives of the Public Defender visited 180 people arrested during the protests.

As mentioned in the statement, 93 persons indicated ill-treatment by the police.

"Between April 15 and May 17, the representatives of the Public Defender visited 180 people arrested at the rallies. 93 persons indicated ill-treatment by the police. 71 people asked for a response, and we contacted the Special Investigation Service. The hotline received 382 messages," reads the statement.
