After Norway, Spain and Ireland also recognized the state of Palestine

Spain and Ireland have recognized the state of Palestine, the Prime Ministers of Spain and Ireland have announced.

"Today, Ireland, Norway and Spain declare that we recognize the state of Palestine. Each of us will now take all the necessary steps at the national level to implement this decision", said the Prime Minister of Ireland, Simon Harris.

According to the Prime Minister of Spain, Pedro Sanchez, his decision to recognize the Palestinian state will officially come into force on May 28.
