Warm congratulations to the friendly Georgian people on Independence Day, - President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky wrote on the social network.

According to him, Ukraine and Georgia will be free, peaceful and prosperous.

Both our nations know all too well that freedom and independence are won rather than granted.

I wish the Georgian people to prosper and strengthen their statehood and ties will all other free nations. I also wish magnificent Georgian culture, identity, and hospitality to multiply over the years.
