Irakli Gharibashvili: We see rhetoric about the possibility of nuclear war, World War III, we must be careful, prudent, and firm - our party is preparing to win in these elections

"Our party is preparing and will prepare for victory in this election for the fourth term," Chairman of Georgian Dream Irakli Gharibashvili told journalists after a meeting held in Telavi within the framework of the regional tour.

According to him, in the 2024 elections, citizens will have to choose between peace, stability and development, and on the other hand, chaos, disorder and war.

"Today I finished the regional tour, today was the tenth meeting. I met of our party in Telavi. Naturally, we talked about a lot of things. The main issue, of course, was the elections, that the party should prepare and is preparing for these elections, in order to win convincingly in these elections. I have shared a number of information and our analysis regarding the current issues that are developing not only in this region, but also in the whole world.

We will once again remind the public about the choices our people will face in these elections. The choice is very simple - the choice will be between peace, stability and development on the one hand and chaos, disorder and war on the other. This is not an exaggeration, since we look at the other side that there is no other national, patriotic political force that can guarantee peaceful, stable development. On the other hand, we see that the degraded political establishment and all these forces that destroyed the country when they were in power have caused enormous damage, again offering instability, war, disorder and chaos to our country. This is the choice facing our people today with all its challenges. The internal situation is further complicated by the situation in the region, the most difficult geopolitical situation", said Gharibashvili.

According to him, today they also talked about the ongoing war and threats in Ukraine.

"We see rhetoric about the possibility of nuclear war, World War III. We heard this from opposing forces, government representatives. I mean, Russia and the West, NATO states. Therefore, in such a difficult and unpredictable environment, we must be careful, prudent, and firm. Of course, we should not allow any unpredictable development of events inside the country. Therefore, our party is preparing and will prepare to win the fourth time in these elections," Gharibashvili said.
