Roman Gotsiridze: Georgian Dream is served by 44 personal cars - every third deputy of the majority has a personal car funded by the Parliament

Georgian Dream is served by 44 personal cars - every third deputy of the majority has a personal car funded by the Parliament, opposition MP Roman Gotsiridze said at the session of the Finance and Budget Committee, where the 2025 budget of the Parliament was determined.

In addition, as Gotsiridze stated at today's session, according to the budget, the number of employees working in the Parliament is determined by 708 employees, which is an unrealistic number, because 708 employees do not include contract employees of the Parliament.

According to Gotsiridze, there are a lot of contract employees in the Parliament's office, as well as in other state institutions. According to him, their exact number cannot be seen from the budget, because "the political asset of Georgian Dream is mostly hidden among freelancers".

According to the state budget of 2024, the financing of the Parliament in the "legislative activity" section is determined at 71,801.8 GEL, from 2025 it will be 87,262.00 GEL - therefore, the budget of the new Parliament will be 15.5 million GEL more.
