Jens Stoltenberg: more than 20 NATO member countries will spend at least 2% of GDP on defense this year

More than 20 NATO member countries will spend at least 2% of their GDP on defense this year, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said in a speech at the Wilson Center in Washington.

"Today I can state that more than 20 NATO member countries will spend at least 2% of their GDP on defense this year. This is good for Europe and good for America," said Jens Stoltenberg.

Jens Stoltenberg noted that the issue of NATO's defense spending will be the main topic of the meeting with US President Joe Biden.
