Tbilisi City Hall: Fallen trees as a result of bad weather damaged houses, cars and communications, strong wind blew roofs off houses - damage is being calculated

The heavy rain that came to Tbilisi late at night, which was accompanied by strong wind, created problems for the capital. Samgori, Krtsanisi and Saburtalo districts were particularly damaged. Tbilisi City Hall disseminates information about this.

According to the agency, the fallen trees damaged houses, cars and communications as a result of bad weather. At several locations, strong winds blew off the roofs of residential houses.

"During the whole night, in all problematic places, representatives of the mayor's office and managements, together with the employees of the emergency management service of internal affairs, were present.

Roads blocked by fallen trees have been cleared, damage is being assessed.
