Geostat: the volume of goods exported from Georgia in January-June 2024 amounted to 2,847.6 million US dollars, which is 6.7% less than the corresponding indicator of last year

According to Geostat data, the volume of goods exported from Georgia in January-June 2024 (without undeclared exports) was 2,847.6 million. USD, which is 6.7% less than the corresponding indicator of last year.

According to their own data, local exports (exports without re-exports) make up 45.4 percent of total exports. The mentioned figure decreased by 11.5% compared to the previous year and reached 1,293.2 million the US dollar.

In January-June 2024, the share of the ten largest countries in the total local export of Georgia amounted to 72.8%. In this regard, the largest export partners are: Russia (271.2 million US dollars), Turkey (217.2 million US dollars) and China (129.6 million US dollars).

In January-June 2024, natural grape wines are on the first place in the top ten local exports with 156.1 mln. In US dollars, the share of the mentioned commodity group is 12.1% of the total local export. Ferroalloys are in second place with 142.9 million US dollars (11.1% of the total local export), and precious metal ores and concentrates take the third place, 101.6 million. in US dollars (7.9% of total domestic exports).
