The service agency "On Road Traffic" has started issuing international driving licenses provided for by the Geneva Convention

The service agency "On Road Traffic" has started issuing the international driving license stipulated by the Geneva Convention of September 19, 1949.

According to the service agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the international driving license is issued for one year, based on the national driving license.

"The document is valid outside Georgia in the countries that are members of the Geneva Convention.

The service agency also issues an international driver's license, which is valid for a period of 3 years, provided for by the Vienna Convention on Road Traffic of November 8, 1968.

The document is valid outside of Georgia in the member states of the Vienna Convention.

In order to obtain an international driver's license, the interested person must submit to the service agency:

identity document;

National driving license", the information says.
