Undeclared gold items were discovered at Tbilisi Airport and Sarpi.

In particular, according to the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance, on August 19-21, at the customs checkpoints: "Tbilisi Airport" and "Sarpi", customs officers based on suspicion, as a result of a detailed examination of both physical and belonging luggage/hand luggage of foreign citizens, a large amount undeclared gold jewelry (total weight: 653.2 grams) was detected. The total customs value of undeclared goods amounted to 135,296,95 GEL.

According to their information, the case materials of law-breaking citizens were handed over to the investigative service of the Ministry of Finance for further response.
