Among all the evils that Saakashvili and his criminal gang committed against our country and people, the war of August 2008 will remain the most serious crime that cannot be forgiven! - Not only should we never allow such a treacherous political organization, which lost, gave away and sold our indigenous territories, we should never allow them to be in power, but we should forever ban political activity, - the chairman of "Georgian Dream" Irakli Gharibashvili said this in a speech at the regional event of the "Georgian Dream" election campaign in Ambrolauri.

According to him, after the restoration of independence until October 1, 2012, there was no such long period of peace under any ruler.

"While giving a speech in front of you today, I will not bother you and list the good things that the "Georgian Dream" government brought to each region of Georgia, to our citizens, under the leadership of our party's founder and our leader Bidzina Ivanishvili, after the historic victory on October 1, 2012. We all remember well how we used to live in the country and how the situation has changed since then, how many times the situation has improved in all areas, in all directions, but in today's speech I would like to pay special attention to one of the most important achievements that Bidzina Ivanishvili and the "Georgian Dream" government brought to each of our countries. Citizen - this is peace!

Since independence till October 1, 2012, we have never had such a long period of peace under any ruler. For the last 12 years, we have had unprecedented and continuous peace in the country, we have not had a war, we have not lost territories, which has never happened during the time of any ruler in Georgia after the restoration of independence! Until October 1, 2012, our country and people endured a coup d'état, revolution, civil war, wars in Abkhazia and Samachablo, we lost territories, lost thousands of our fellow citizens, hero soldiers and hero policemen, several hundreds of thousands of citizens have to live in exile in their own country, we went through an extreme economic crisis And misery, Saakashvili's autocratic rule, oppression, injustice, killing of people, suffering, torture, inhumane treatment, business racket, suppression of media, free speech and constant, continuous chaos, injustice and disorder...

And yet, among all the evils that Saakashvili and his criminal gang committed against our country and people, the war of August 2008 will remain the most serious crime that cannot be forgiven! This war could have been avoided, the war was not inevitable, and I will repeat what I have said many times: if Bidzina Ivanishvili was in power then, this war would not have happened! Now that our government has already won all the processes related to the August war in The Hague and Strasbourg, it is necessary to answer all the questions, for example, why the Saakashvili government did not avoid this war for our country and people, why it took such reckless steps, the consequences of which were very easy to calculate and small Even a child would have understood what his adventurous, reckless and treacherous steps would lead to... Today, no one doubts that they knew perfectly well what they were doing, and to this day many unanswered questions remain, for example, why the Russian army, which was withdrawn from Georgia in 2007, returned with even greater force in a few months and Why did they surrender more than 100 villages that were under our control before the war? Why did they surrender without a fight, why did they give Kodori valley? After the end of the war, why did they sign a resolution against the interests of Georgia? After the war, why did they continue to live as if nothing had happened, why did they hand over strategic objects, why did they unilaterally open the visa-free regime, at a time when, at the same time, Russia had started building military bases in the occupied territories?

The criminal gang that committed such a heinous crime and treason claims to return to power even today... Therefore, we should not let them into power ever again, but the political activities of such a treacherous political organization, which lost, gave away and sold our indigenous territories, should be banned forever! - said Gharibashvili.

Michał Kobosko - we hope that your government eventually would either choose the European way, the democratic way or would resign seeing the number, the size and scale of the citizens' protests
