According to "Geostat" data, the number of live births in Georgia in January-June 2024 was 18,633. In the same period, 22,265 people died in the country.
According to statistics, in the first half of 2024, the natural increase (the difference between the number of live births and deaths) was determined by -3,632 people. A positive rate of natural increase was recorded in Tbilisi (478) and the Autonomous Republic of Adjara (621).
As for the rate of marriage and divorce, in the first 6 months of 2024, 9,924 cases of marriage and 6,859 cases of divorce were registered.
