14 people were arrested as a result of the special operation conducted in Tbilisi's 5 night club

As a result of the special operation conducted in Tbilisi, 14 people were arrested on charges of fraud and extortion.

According to Teimuraz Kupatadze, director of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the special operation was conducted late at night in the 5 night club.

According to him, the detainees were fraudulently extorting money from citizens of foreign countries using various violent methods.

"14 persons have been arrested on charges of fraud and extortion. Arrests will continue. In the course of the investigation, new figures may be revealed. These citizens fraudulently extorted money from the citizens of foreign countries using psychological and various violent methods," said Kupatadze.
