Before that, he explained once again about the cancellation of his invitation to the Biden administration.

"I will repeat once again, regarding the dinner, if there was no handshake, as it turned out, there was a dinner, regarding the participation there, practically all delegations were invited, there are about 200 countries that are members of the UN, how many of these 200 countries are authoritarian, including constitutionally, about half are formal autocracies, half are self-recognized autocracies or autocracies recognized by others. That is, about 100 countries were invited to this dinner, which have a formalized or informal autocracy in their country, including one-party rule, etc. And they were invited. Where is the logic here? For us, logic is the only thing, in this case, the hand of the "Global War Party" is involved in everything. Some people are very upset that we haven't taken concrete steps from 2022, and these facts are an expression of that irritation.

That is why we say that when the war in Ukraine ends, the interests towards Georgia will change, after that we will have the opportunity to qualitatively reset relations with the USA. I will specify here that we are ready to restart relations from here. If there will be some steps, yes, but we don't expect it until the end of the year, but I will repeat that from the beginning of next year, we are sure that after one election, another election, after the end of the war in Ukraine, relations between Georgia and the United States of America will be qualitatively overloaded.

"I want you to imagine what the situation will be at the beginning of next year - the elections will be over here and there, that's one thing. Second - Salome Zurabishvili will no longer be the President of Georgia, third - we think that the war in Ukraine will definitely end in the first half of next year, and these are the factors that ultimately lead to the reset of relations. These are the factors, wait for the rest and see what will happen", Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists.

The Prime Minister believes that the elections will be held against the background of unprecedented external interference.

"These elections will be held against the backdrop of unprecedented external interference, which is an unfortunate event. However, in the end, everyone will have to respect the democratic choice of the Georgian people", said Irakli Kobakhidze.
