Giorgi Vashadze: We have received information of blocking our party's billboards in the city on behalf of "Georgian Dream" - I am addressing Bidzina Ivanishvili: What are you afraid of? Why resort to such tricks?

Giorgi Vashadze, a leader of the "Unity-National Movement," has accused Bidzina Ivanishvili and the "Georgian Dream" party of blocking his party's billboards in the city. Speaking at a briefing, Vashadze addressed Ivanishvili directly, questioning his fear and accusing him of resorting to underhanded tactics to stifle opposition.

"We received information that the company 'Wissol,' under instructions from 'Georgian Dream,' is not displaying our billboards in the city. These billboards carry our message to the Georgian people: 'Unity' must win to move toward the European Union. Our goal is to remove 'Dream' and Ivanishvili from power," Vashadze said.

He challenged the company to clarify the situation, asking if a contract was signed and payment received, demanding to know on what grounds the billboards were withheld. "Not putting up billboards won't save you from losing power," he emphasized.

Vashadze also expressed frustration with Ivanishvili and Irakli Kobakhidze, stating that their attempts to manipulate the situation through such "tricks" will not succeed. "The whole world is seeing the trouble you’ve caused with these billboards. We are telling the truth: to become a full member of the European Union, we must remove Ivanishvili and the 'Georgian Dream.' No matter what you do, you can’t escape defeat," he concluded.
