Director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service: I am sure that the Georgian nation will make the right choice

I am sure that the Georgian nation will make the right choice. Director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin, stated this in a conversation with journalists in Baku.

According to Naryshkin, the OSCE/ODIHR "on the order of the US State Department" prepared an "interim conclusion in which there is a thesis that there are no conditions for fair and open elections in Georgia". According to Naryshkin, this "certainly does not correspond to reality".

"The goal of this action is to try to rudely, quite brazenly interfere in the internal affairs of Georgia, to try to prevent healthy, nationally oriented forces from governing again. But I am sure that the Georgian nation will choose. He will make the right and accurate choice", said Naryshkin.
