Coalition "For Change" leaders meet with President Salome Zurabishvili on issues related to the composition of the so-called technical government and the candidate for the position of Prime Minister

The leaders of the "Change" coalition came to the Orbeliani Palace to meet with President Salome Zurabishvili.

According to available information, at the meeting, Salome Zurabishvili called the leaders of the coalition: Nika Gvaramia, Nika Melia, Elene Khoshtaria and Zurab Japaridze. She will name the members of the technical government and a possible candidate for the position of Prime Minister.

As the leaders of the coalition announced before the meeting, they have no information about whose candidacy the president will nominate.

For information, the opposition forces signed the "Georgian Charter" drawn up on the initiative of the President, by which the signatories of the Charter, along with a number of obligations, undertake to fulfill the conditions written in the Charter before the end of the first spring session, and immediately after the fulfillment, early parliamentary elections will be held in free and fair conditions. Also, they promise that the so-called The technical government, represented by the President of Georgia. According to Salome Zurabishvili, she has already selected a candidate for the position of prime minister who "has high public confidence".

"I want to start meetings with the parties on Monday, so that there is little time left before the elections and we can start negotiations regarding specific candidates. The parties will have the opportunity to submit ministerial candidacies. Politicians, so far, at this stage - no.
