Prime Minister: Salome Zurabishvili has "two fridays" left in office - impeachment symbolizes traitor's departure

Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated that Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili has "two Fridays" left in her position, with her impeachment carrying symbolic meaning. He emphasized that it is crucial for the "traitor" to be removed from the presidency as standard practice.

Kobakhidze informed journalists that the impeachment would occur the second day after the first session of the newly convened parliament. The exact timing of Zurabishvili's removal from office will depend on when the first session is scheduled, likely by late November or early December.

"After 'Georgian Dream' secures more than 100 mandates in the Parliament of Georgia, the impeachment process will be swift, commencing immediately after the first session. While President Zurabishvili’s term ends in December, her impeachment is symbolically important. She should vacate the office not merely due to the end of her term but as a violator of the Constitution, a traitor," said Kobakhidze.
