Reverend Nikoloz: The choice of an individual should not be guided—A free state must consist of independent citizens

Reverend Nikoloz, Metropolitan of Akhalkalaki, Kumurdo, and Kari, emphasized the importance of individual choice in maintaining a free state. Speaking to journalists during the Svetitskhoveli holiday in Mtskheta, he expressed that no guidance should be given to individuals regarding their personal decisions, including political choices.
"Every person has to make their own choice. We do not interfere with people's personal choices. Whom [someone] will choose, how they will choose—people cannot be given any guidelines because if we want to be a free state, this free state must consist of individuals," said Reverend Nikoloz.
