Nika Gvaramia, a prominent leader within the Coalition for Change, declared that the upcoming October 26 election will be decisive in Georgia’s journey towards Europe. Gvaramia stressed the importance of not only securing votes but also protecting them, emphasizing that the opposition's collective success will mark a turning point for the country's future.
During his speech, Gvaramia highlighted that, for the first time in Georgia’s political history, the opposition is uniting both to gather votes and to safeguard them. He emphasized the critical nature of the October 26 election, stating that victory is within reach and only needs to be finalized by voters.
"For the first time in the history of Georgia, we are gathering not only those who will bring votes, but also those who will protect all the opposition votes," Gvaramia noted. He stressed that the coalition is focused on ensuring every vote against Georgian Dream is protected.
Gvaramia underlined the unity of the opposition under the banner of number four, which represents the coalition. He acknowledged the efforts of all opposition parties to work together to achieve a common goal – defeating the ruling party.
"We are here people who are united by our homeland and number four," Gvaramia said, adding that this alliance transcends party lines and represents a shared commitment to Georgia’s future.
"First of all, we should not circle, but color our choice," he said, referring to the ballot method and urging supporters to be decisive in their voting process.
Gvaramia also reaffirmed the opposition’s broader goal of securing Georgia’s future within Europe.
"We're going to Europe, and the only thing left is to seal that pick and win on October 26," he remarked, highlighting the significance of the election as a final step towards achieving a European future for Georgia.
