Today, Georgia does not have an opposition - it has an agency that is registered as an opposition political party! The agency's place is not in politics, but in the judiciary! - This is how "Georgian Dream" MP Rati Ionatamishvili responds to the part of the interview of the honorary chairman of "Georgian Dream", Bidzina Ivanishvili, where he talked about the prosecution of the opposition.
As Ionatamishvili noted, "the radical opposition does not protect the interests of its voters, but the interests of those who gave the task - foreign powers".
Ionatamishvili also said that Giorgi Gakharia resigned from the post of Prime Minister due to an assignment received from outside.
"I am sure that the agency - these four parties, which represent the radical opposition, will have to stand before the court and be judged.
Gakharia resigned from the post of Prime Minister due to an order received from outside - Mikheil Saakashvili's sneaking into Georgia and Gakharia's resignation had one order giver and had one goal - it was to prepare for riots before the war in Ukraine started, in order to prepare our country for the second front. Georgia should have become a training ground!", said Rati Ionatamishvili.
The deputy of "Georgian Dream" says that victory in the elections with a constitutional majority is of existential importance.
"Bidzina Ivanishvili is a public figure, a true patriot of this country and also a guarantor of peace, stability and development. Anyone who saw Ivanishvili's interview yesterday would be convinced of all this once again.
It is already of existential importance for our country that the "Georgian Dream" gets a constitutional majority, which will make prosperity, progress and peace irreversible.
Our society knows very well that there was pressure on Georgia to open a second front. These risks have not finally disappeared. "Georgian Dream" was able to protect peace in the country - everyone thwarted the malicious plan that would ultimately bring Georgia to the brink of destruction. Therefore, "Georgian Dream" always stands on the side of peace and development. We will not allow anyone to do things here for the sake of Georgia opening a second front," said Rati Ionatamishvili.
