According to Raul Lolua, the secretary of the so-called security council of occupied Abkhazia, in connection with the planned parliamentary elections in Georgia, additional units of the security forces will be brought into the Gali region to strengthen security.
"This is exactly the task that president Aslan Bzhania set for the security forces," Lolua noted.
He links the possible worsening of the situation on the so-called border of the Enguri River with the upcoming parliamentary elections in Georgia and statements about the possibility of "opening a second front" in relation to Abkhazia.
According to Lolua, some Georgian politicians call for the maximum mobilization of the army and express their desire to "fight no less than Ukraine".
"We are closely monitoring the situation in Georgia and we are predicting possible options for the development of the situation," Lolua said.
To remind you, the so-called security council of occupied Abkhazia made a decision to close the so-called state border along the Enguri River from October 23 to everyone, including employees of the Enguri HPP. Except for the so-called citizens of Abkhazia.
