Our opponents often try to instill in the public the wrong idea that Georgia can become a high-income country only after we are accepted into the European Union. In reality, everything is the opposite - Georgia can be accepted into the European Union only after it becomes a high-income country - Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, the head of the election headquarters of "Georgian Dream", said this during his speech at the final event of the election campaign in Tbilisi.

According to him, during the past 12 years, "Georgian Dream" had impressive results in this direction.

"We have already increased the economy of Georgia from 28 billion GEL to 90 billion GEL, the economy has tripled under our government, we have increased the country's budget from 8.5 billion to 28 billion, we have halved unemployment since 2012, we have increased the average salary, which was 712.5 GEL, to 2,000 GEL, poverty is almost 3- First we reduced it after 2012 and helped 680,000 people out of poverty.

According to our plan, in the next 4 years, the economy of Georgia will reach 130 billion GEL, the country's budget will exceed 40 billion GEL, we will create 200,000 new jobs, the average salary will reach 3,500 GEL, and the poverty rate will fall below 4 percent.

Over the past 12 years, with the support of the state, 700 new enterprises were created and 800 enterprises were retooled. Over the next 4 years, with our support, hundreds of new enterprises will be created.

We increased the pace of infrastructure construction several times. We are often told that the previous government built only 68 kilometers of highway. We have built 34 kilometers and 22 kilometers of tunnel and bridge only in these 12 years. In total, we have already built up to 300 kilometers of highways, and in this direction, the rapid development of the country will continue in the future.

During the next 4 years, the production of electricity will double in Georgia, which is very important for the energy independence of the country. Agriculture, tourism and other sectors of the economy will develop even more. The regions will develop even more. Tbilisi will be further developed and beautified.

In a few years, Tbilisi will have a new international airport and a new, super-modern football and rugby stadium.

We will build a new infrastructure of the state university in Tbilisi, where Georgian students will receive European standards education in the best environment and will be able to realize their interests. Kutaisi International University founded by Mr. Bidzina Ivanishvili will also be significantly expanded. We are launching a 2-billion dollar program to develop sports infrastructure.

We have already started the construction of the Anaklia port and the expansion of the Kutaisi international airport.

The healthcare system will be further developed, the social protection package of the population will be expanded, pensions will increase every year in our country", Irakli Kobakhidze said.

According to him, the above is the shortest way that will create prosperity of European standards in Georgia and will not only bring Georgia into the European family, but also, most importantly, bring European prosperity to Georgia.

"The alternative to this is authoritarianism, war and stopping the economy, which the radical opposition promises us. The alternative to our truly Georgian and truly European team is Saakashvili, Gvaramia, Khazaradze and Gakharia, who are not only foreign agents, but stateless people completely unsuitable for Georgian culture and dignity.

We have to remind ourselves once again that the October 26 election is a decisive referendum. Here on two sides of the scale lie war and peace, immoral propaganda and traditional values, hate and love, dark past and bright future of Georgia.
