According to the preliminary data received from the local election headquarters, "Georgian Dream" is already guaranteed a solid majority in the Parliament of Georgia, however, it needs to gather its last forces and come to the polling stations in order to get a constitutional majority, - said the General Secretary of "Georgian Dream", Kakha Kaladze. He said at a briefing held at the party office.

According to him, the unprecedentedly high turnout leaves no chance for the success of the radical opposition.

"Parliamentary elections are being held today, which are of crucial importance for the future of our country. It is decided today whether our country will return to the dark past or preserve peace and dignity, without which the development of the country is simply unimaginable and impossible.

It should be noted that according to the data of 15:00, an unprecedentedly high turnout was recorded, which leaves no chance for the success of the radical opposition.

Once again, I call on every voter who cares about the fate of our country, the protection of traditional values, the peaceful, dignified and bright European future of Georgia - come to the elections and support the only political force, "Georgian Dream", which is committed to protecting the national interests of Georgia at all costs, interests of every citizen of our country.

I call on everyone to help conduct the elections in a peaceful environment.

We see a coordinated attempt by specific television stations and specific groups belonging to the radical opposition to artificially cause chaos in the course of the elections in order to create a false perception against the peaceful course of the elections. I remind everyone that any violation of the law will be met with the full severity of the law.

Once again, I urge each voter to be active. Today you have a unique opportunity to make your direct contribution to the strengthening and progress of our country. I am sure that the vast majority of our fellow citizens will take advantage of this opportunity," Kaladze said.
